We empower the independent electric utilities in Alaska's interior to reduce electric rates, empower the local workforce, and provide reliable power through dedicated regional collaboration

Our Goal

is to reduce our members’ utility rates 25% by 2025

Our Organization

We are a nonprofit membership association comprised of independent utilities in Alaska’s interior. The Utility Manager of each member utility serves on the Board of Directors of RIVER Collective. Together, we are overcoming the challenges of providing low cost and reliable energy to our members’ remote communities.
